You may know about the worst adult serial killers, but do you know about the worst child serial killers? Children and teenagers are also capable of some of the most heinous crimes imaginable. Here are the top ten worst child serial killers:
Graham Young is responsible for the deaths of three people, and the attempted murder of about 70 others. At the age of 14 he began poisoning his family. His step mother died, and his father and sister became sick. Graham also managed to accidentally poison himself in this period. When his step mother died, his aunt encouraged his father to send him to a psychiatrist. He admitted to the poisonings, and was admitted to a mental hospital. He was released after eight years, at which time he would go on to poison seventy people in a matter of months. Two people died. He was arrested and sent to prison where he died in 1990.
Willie Bosket's murdures led to new laws that allowed children to be tried as adults. At the age of fifteen he shot and killed his first victim, Noel Perez, while robbing him. A week later, he killed his second victim on a subway during another robbery. His third victim was a New York Transit employee. He was convicted and sentenced to five years. Willie Bosket went in and out of prison for the rest of his life. He is serving 82 years for an unrelated crime.
Edmund Kemper was fifteen when he shot and killed his grandparents. He was found guilty and would spend five years in prison. His doctors stated that he should not live with his mother, but he was returned to her care anyway. As an adult he would murder six young women, his mother, and his mother's friend. He was convicted of the murders and sentenced to life.
Harvey Robinson was only seventeen when he began killing. He is now the youngest serial killer on death row. In one year he killed three women and attacked two more. Twenty years after his original convictions he still appeals his death sentences.
Mary Bell grew up in a troubled home where men abused her. At the age of just eleven she strangled a four year old boy. A couple months later she killed a three year old, carved an "M" into his stomach, and cut his penis. She ended up serving twelve years for her crimes. Amazingly, she went on to live a normal life and didn't kill again. She is now a grandmother.
Craig Price- At the age of thirteen, Craig Price killed his first victim, Rebecca Spencer. She was stabbed over 50 times. The vicious crimes did not end there. Two years later he killed Joan Heaton and her two young daughters. The stabbings were so brutal that the blade of the knife he used broke off into one of his victims. At the age of 16 he was arrested. He had no remorse for the crimes. He was convicted and will be released from prison in 2020.
Jesse Pomeroy attacked a handful of boys before he committed his first murder at the age of 14. He attacked and killed a ten year old girl. A month later he killed and mutilated a four year old boy. He was tried and convicted. He spent the rest of his life in prison and died at the age of 72.
Seito Sakakibara is the alias given to the Kobe child killer in Japan. Due to the killer's age, his real name has not been released. The killer was 14 when the murders were committed. The victims were an eleven year old boy and a ten year old girl. The boy was found beheaded and mutilated outside of a school. The girl wasn't found. The killer spent 8 years in prison.
Dmitry Kopilov is a Russian serial killer who killed 7 people, starting when he was 16. He targeted the elderly. He dragged his victims into the woods where he would use any weapon he could, including sticks and bones, to kill them. He was arrested at the age of 17 and sentenced to ten years.
Bruce George Peter Lee is one of Britain's youngest and most horrific serial killers. He was a juvenile arsonist whose method of murder would become fire. He started numerous fires, and killed 11. He claimed his first victim at the age of 13. He was 19 when he was caught. Though he claimed the murders were accidental, some of his victims were people who he held a grudge against. He was sentenced to life.
